Welcome to the MRHMS Art webpage!

Art and art history touch all aspects of our lives. The outcomes of an exposure the history of art can and do effect the intellectual growth of our students. It is the belief of MRH school District that creating an environment of visual literacy and perspective is critical. We believe in raising the visual consciousness of students; enabling them to discover new ideas, skills and vocabulary; and developing their ability to evaluate and critique artwork. It is our belief that students gain a rich understanding and appreciation for the world around them by studying the making of art and art history.
